Your saves stay on your device
Front Office Hoops runs entirely in your browser. Your leagues, rosters, and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us — we couldn't read your save if we wanted to. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes your saves, so export a backup from Settings if you care about a franchise.
No account needed
Today, you don't create an account to play, and we don't collect your name, email address, or any other personal information. If we introduce optional features that use accounts in the future, this page will describe exactly what they collect before they launch.
Analytics
We count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It uses no cookies, stores no personal information, and doesn't follow you across the web. It tells us things like how many people visited and which pages they read — in aggregate, not about you.
The game also sends anonymous gameplay milestones — a league was created, a season finished, a championship was won — so we know which features matter. These carry no personal information and never include your save data.
Cookies and third parties
Today, this site sets no cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain — no third-party CDNs watching you load a page — and there are no ad networks or social-media pixels here. If that changes (for example, if we add advertising to support the free game), this page will describe it plainly, and anything legally requiring your consent will ask for it first.
Some links lead off-site — our Discord community, for example. Once you're there, that service's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
This page describes how things work right now, and we update it when reality changes. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. For material changes — anything that starts collecting new data — we'll post a notice on the site, not just quietly edit this page.
